What a way to start a show.  Milk Chocolate are perhaps the hottest act In the company right now, and among the most talented.  Juicy Product are also really fantastic, and so good in their roles as douchebag heels.  The visual of them coming to the ring with the NYWC, FIP, CZW and WSU tag team championships just amplifies their douchiness to 11.
Anyway, like I said, this was a great way to start the show.  Crowd was quiet to start, and the action started slow. It quickly built up into a fast, hard-hitting, badass tag match.  Milk Chocolate had the match won following their powerbomb/backstabber combo finish, but the ref was nowhere to be found, because he was dealing with a Juicy Product “injury.”  Juicy Product steal the win soon after.

What worked: I liked this match a lot. I’ll admit, I mark pretty hard for both teams, but come on.  Nick and I often talk about what we’d show non-fans to help them understand why we like wrestling.  These two teams –especially paired together—are a perfect example of that.  They brought a dead crowd to life and had a great match, that told a great story, and built into an interesting storyline…to be discussed later in the review. Oh, and for the record—Milk Chocolate’s finish looks ABSOLUTELY DEADLY, every time.

What made me angry: Nothing here made me angry.  At first, I was a bit confused about the choice to start the show with these guys, feeling it may burn the crowd out early.  There ended up being a pretty good reason for it, which again, we’ll get to later in the show.  Also, I was upset for a split second that Milk Chocolate didn’t take the tag titles, but it’s not time yet—especially not in an opening match.  When these guys take the tag titles, it’s going to be in a main event, and it’s going to be FRIGGIN’ AWESOME.
