The Divas championship match on the show needs to be a straight match… but you need to feature more of the Divas division on this show, especially with the “Divas Revolution” gimmick in full-swing.
All eight of these women deserve a spot on this card, for different reasons. This a good way to highlight all of them, give them all a spot, focus on their strengths and hide weaknesses.
Let the Bellas and Alicia work a strong heel style. Let Summer do Summer things, like she does so well. Let Paige be the wildcard of the babyfface team, while Becky and Natalya carry the workload, and Bayley gets a big babyface hot tag.
This could turn out amazing, if given the right time, and the right producer to put it together.
In a perfect world, this ends with Bayley hitting her finish on Nikki Bella for the 3-count. It gives her something to hold onto when she hits the main roster, as an underdog who can beat the odds, without really hurting anyone else. Like the battle royal ending, it’s an investment in both current NXT, and the future of WWE, and a smart move in front of 100,000 fans.
