10 Better Ways for TNA to Spend $400k than on Alberto Del Rio

9. Kaitlyn

Remember Kaitlyn?  You know you do.  She was a fun part of the WWE Divas division, who left the company about a year ago to pursue other interests.  While she may have fallen out of love with pro wrestling, she has a legitimate fan base, a great look, and can be used well with some of the other ladies in the Knockouts division.  A feud with the Beautiful People seems natural, and run-ins with the former Jessicka Havok and Awesome Kong would have potential to be a lot of fun.

The Upside: She has legitimate WWE star power, without carrying that aura of being “just another former WWE signee.”  She’s gorgeous, and has an incredibly loyal social media following.  Signing her will mean new viewers tuning in.  Kaitlyn also gets the chance to plug her clothing line and outside ventures, and can be presented as a “real world” star in the process.  You can probably even short-change her a little bit on pay in exchange for the cross-promotion.

The Risk: Most fans only know Celeste Bonin from her WWE run.  To us…err, them… she’ll always be Kaitlyn.  It may take a bit more rebranding than TNA is used to, unless they just allow her to go out there as Celeste Bonin.  There’s also the possibility that her heart is long gone from pro wrestling, and that she’d rather focus on her future…err, current endeavors.
