This match was part of the 2012 “Best of the Super Juniors” tournament, which is an annual showcase of the world’s best cruiserweight wrestlers over in New Japan (which, you know, is the second largest wrestling company in the world.)
Simply put, there’s a reason why WWE made a point to recruit these two guys, who don’t quite seem to fit the WWE superstar mold, and bring them to the land of giants.
