If WWE was going to import a Japanese junior heavyweight start who wasn’t KENTA, who’d go on to become Hideo Itami, they would have introduced us to Marufuji. They have similar pedigrees. Both super talented. Both well-acquainted with the smart-mark crowd, thanks to their runs with Ring of Honor. Both carry themselves like stars.

In short? Marufuji is pretty great. He’s also a pretty great opponent for our friend, Fergal. You’re probably never going to see them do battle in the WWE ring, so you’d better take advantage of this opportunity.
