Dean Ambrose (c) vs. Kevin Owens
Last Man Standing Match — WWE Intercontinental Championship
This match has serious show-stealing potential.
Ambrose and Owens are both awesome and, booked together, are phenomenal. The crowd has gone absolutely mental for their segments together — whether they’re talking trash, or putting each other through the announce table.
The last man standing stipulation gives these guys the opportunity to have a crazy, brawl-around-the-building kind of match, which exactly what this show was missing.
It should be a lot of fun, and I can’t wait to see it.
I’m expecting…: Ambrose wins, continuing the feud through Fast Lane.
If I booked it: Owens wins in a dominant fashion, then moves into an IC title feud with Sami Zayn. Ambrose stays on the periphery of the WWE Championship scene, siding with Roman Reigns against the Authority.
