Ryback vs. Bray Wyatt

I expect a lot of brawling around the ring, and maybe a big double-kill spot, leading to a no-contest and a gimmick match.

When I’m wrong, I’m wrong.

These guys had a pretty good match, and I’m not embarrassed to admit I liked it. Wyatt wins, but Ryback looks strong in defeat.

What made me happy: This match was pretty decent, with a really good bit of storytelling and ring psychology. Ryback usually fails to get the credit he deserves when he delivers in this type of match, and he definitely delivered. I’d really like to see these guys mix it up again.

What made me angry: What I did not like, impressive as it looked, was Bray Wyatt’s senton splash from the apron, onto a prone Ryback at ringside. That bump is what broken ribs look like. And, funny enough, there have been lots of rumors about Ryback’s health since the conclusion of the match. Here’s hoping that

If I booked it…: The ending would have been shot better, so the we wouldn’t have needed a half dozen explanations and an exasperated Michael Cole to explain what just happened.
