There wasn’t much to this match. It was “good”, but in a way that didn’t really do anything that exceeded expectations or got viewers excited for the future, which isn’t the fault of the performers but is still important in evaluating their performances.
“Does anyone really care what happens with the Divas title now?” isn’t the question they need to answer, however. It’s “What can they do to ever have anyone care about the Divas title, period?” And if they don’t stop messing up the builds for these matches by injecting Jerry Springer (and Jerry Springer-quality storylines) into them, the answer wi be “nothing”.
