It’s Day Three of #StylesWeek, a celebration of all things Phenomenal and the sixth installment in our patent-pending Juice Make Sugar Wrestler of the Week series. We started off with A Wrestler You Should Probably Know Better, before we gave you the finer points of the Mr. Olympia oeuvre with some Essential Viewing. Today, we march through the end of Hump Day with a GIF parade. Tomorrow we’ll make our “Amazon.com on steroids” dream come true with Juice Make Sugar Recommends…. We’ll finish everything off on Friday with a Difference of Opinion (where JMS HQ erupts in a Pele Kick-fueled civil war.)
For a long time, people who don’t watch TNA saw A.J. Styles as a flippy-spinny who takes unnecessary risks
and has kind of a silly signature move, the Pele Kick
However, like most other things
he manages to make it look good
by treating it less like a killer move than as a way to give himself some breathing room.
His actual finisher, The Styles Clash, may be dangerous
but more often than not, it looks pretty awesome:
especially when he goes all out for it
And it’s not the only move he can do.
For someone his size, he’s surprisingly strong.
He’s also extremely creative
seriously,
and, he’s, uh, ready to fly.
