Andy Will Be Angry If…: WWE Fastlane Edition

For a WWE Championship Match at WrestleMania

Roman Reigns vs. Daniel Bryan

I only caught a few minutes of this week’s Raw.  All I caught was the show-ending brawl between these two guys. Bryan hitting Reigns with a top-rope dropkick, Reigns mouthing the words “you shouldn’t have done that” and all hell breaking loose.  I’m excited for this match.

Now, I realize that this match most likely ends with Reigns standing tall.  I’m okay with that.  You should be too.  I still expect the crowd to be incredibly butthurt by any result other than Michael Cole shrieking “Daniel Bryan is going to WrestleMania!”  Regardless, I’m going to sit back, watch these two guys work a nicely-nuanced match with strong characters and clearly–defined motivations, and look forward to my trip to WrestleMania.

I’ll be angry if: The crowd takes over this match, the way it did the Royal Rumble.

I’ll keep my cool if: The crowd reacts like 12-thousand people who paid money to watch a show they like, and enjoy what is going to be, far and away, the best thing on said show.

I’m expecting: A solid match, led by wrestling god Daniel Bryan.  Bryan makes Reigns look amazing over the course of 20 minutes.  The crowd reacts to this match the way they do most NXT shows, since they knew it was going to be good, and got an even better match than they expected.
