NYWC: Angry Andy Reviews "Draw The Line"

Grim Reefer, Cooley K and Eddie Guapo vs. Alvin Alvarez, Ultimo Maya and J-Redd

Guapo cut a promo pre-match, saying it’s been a couple years since his last NYWC appearance. He says he and his team are going after the guys that don’t defend the NYWC letters.  Alvin Alvarez cuts a promo on his way to the ring, re-introducing the A-Listers.  He says they respect those who came before them, but this is their time.

A-listers get the heat on Guapo.  Reefer tags in and has the match won, but Jonathan Evans distracts the ref, Cono hits him with double knees off the top, Alvin nails a falcon arrow and throws J-Redd on top for the pin.

What I liked: This was pretty good while it lasted.  Reefer and Cooley K got a lot of their stuff in, and their stuff is pretty great.  It’s nice to see Guapo back.  And I know I’m a broken record on this, but the A-listers are great.  This stable is such an effective way to utilize a group of guys, showcasing their strengths and hiding their weaknesses. It reminds me of ECW in the best ways.
