2. Bray Wyatt
Why it works: He stole the Undertaker’s powers, and Kane’s. He’s got the biggest team of henchmen EVER. He’s an amazing promo, big match player, and a guy who always draws a crowd reaction. He also has built-in feuds with every top babyface on the main roster, which doesn’t hurt. There has never been a better time to make Bray THE GUY, and a better time is unlikely to come in the future.
Why it (probably) won’t happen: WWE has seemed intent on keeping Bray Wyatt out of the title picture, with the old Jake Roberts-esque sentiment of “he doesn’t need the belt.”
