Over the next three days, Dave will be reviewing the past month of Impact Wrestling action in anticipation of Thursday night’s Genesis Free-for-View (or whatever it is they call the things that used to be PPVs that they were losing money on). Here’s Part Three: the 1/9/2014 show.

Over the next three days, Dave will be reviewing the past month in Impact Wrestling action in anticipation of Thursday night’s Genesis Free-for-View (or whatever it is they call the things that used to be PPVs that they were losing money on). Here’s part one: the 12/26 show.
Like every other wrestling company, TNA creates a weekly preview of its flagship show, Impact Wrestling (even the ones they’re pretending are pseudo-pay per view supercards like this week’s Final Resolution). And, like every other wrestling company, they don’t always tell the truth when hyping their product. Thankfully, Dave is here to try to figure what TNA is trying to say, and tell you what he thinks, so you don’t have to do either.
Dave tries to stay positive during a segment involving Pacman Jones. We wish him luck.
This week’s Halloween edition of Impact Wrestling will try to answer the terrifying question of how you can have a professional wrestling league without a champion. Universal Studios’ monsters Abyss and Lei’D Tapa will appear alongside the spookiest witch of them all: Dixie Carter.
Last night, TNA Wrestling presented the culminating event of their wrestling year, Bound For Glory, live from the Veijas Arena at San Diego State University. Heading into the event, the nearly unanimous opinion in the wrestling world was that TNA had done a poor job making “their Wrestlemania” feel special in spite of four full months of TV time build angles. Let’s find out it was right.
It’s Bound For Glory Sunday! Which means it’s time for Dave to ask What’s the Worst That Could Happen? at BFG (you’d be surprised).
This week’s edition of Impact Wrestling attempts to pick up the pieces following the largely-nonsensical fallout from last week’s worked-shoot confrontation and Aces & Eight’s sudden implosion. Should be fun(?)
This week’s edition of Impact Wrestling is built around an awe-inspiring wrestling match-up featuring Jeff Hardy in X Division competition and a cringe-inspiring promo showdown between new top contender A.J. Styles and his doe-eyed boss who knows nothing about wrestling. What’s the Worst That Could Happen?
It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was this Thursday’s Impact Wrestling. Seriously. There were some TERRIBLE segments. And a surprisingly good one or two.
