Team Vitko (Casanova Valentine, Joey Conway & Jamie Van Lemer) vs. Team Kip (Francis Kipland Stevens, Mega, Anthony Lacerra)

Pre-match, Vitko cuts a promo, selling the seriousness of the stips.  He wants the match now, and he gets it.   Good match, with solid action from all six guys.  Finish sees Kip enter on a blind tag on Mega, who then turns on him with a chokeslam.  JVL pins Kip, so he has to leave NYWC. Post-match promo from Kip.  He thanks all the fans, the locker room, and management.

He name drops a few guys, including Anthony Nese, Papadon and Mike Mondo.  Hugs and handshakes from all the guys at ringside, a standing ovation from the crowd, and the end of a great run in NYWC. Kip has been part of NYWC for a long time now.  His hip hop nerd character was a big hit with the kids, and his hard work in the ring was popular with everyone else.  I wrote earlier this year that I wanted to see him shake it up and do something more meaningful, and boy did he deliver.  His feud with Team Vitko has been great, featuring good action, good promos, good debuts, and awesome twists and turns.   Good luck, Kip.  Wherever you’re headed, whatever’s next… good luck.  We’ll miss you.
