9. John Cena

Why it works: Let’s be real. John Cena is the biggest star in the company. John Cena is the longest-lasting top star…pretty much ever. He’s the main roster guy with the most credibility, who would give Roman the biggest rub.

He’s also the guy who would get anywhere close to enough heat from the crowd to make Reigns a full-fledged babyface.

Why it would make me angry: John Cena in the main event of WrestleMania is nothing new. And with a lesser opponent, it’s also nothing that good. That’s a problem, considering we’ve all seen how much Roman needs to be carried to a have a truly great match.

The biggest problem, though, is that we’ve seen Brock Lesnar handily defeat John Cena. We’ve seen Rusev defeat John Cena. We’ve seen the friggin Miz defeat John Cena…at WrestleMania, no less. The fans who need to see Reigns have a BIG win are not going to get what they need out of Cena vs. Reigns.
