Andy Will Be Angry If…: WWE Money in the Bank Edition

Divas Championship Match

Nikki Bella (c) vs. Paige

I was really invested in this feud. If you read my Elimination Chamber preview, you’d know that I was all-in on the Divas storyline. Then Naomi disappeared, and Twin Magic reappeared, and everything went to hell.

I’m not excited.

I’m pretty much shrugging this match off. When WWE stops treating its main roster talents as an afterthought, I’ll do the same.

I’ll be angry if: The commentary team spends the whole match talking about twin magic, instead of the talented performers in the ring.

I’ll keep my cool if: The commentary team focuses on the long-brewing rivalry between the company’s top Divas.

I’m expecting…: Nikki wins. I thought a title change was a sure thing, until my buddy Mike suggested WWE may be building up towards Nikki beating AJ’s record, and becoming the longest-reigning Divas champion. WWE is a pretty petty company, after all, and I can see them hanging their “best ever” flag on Nikki, just to spite Mrs. Punk.

If I booked it: Paige would get the win…over Brie Bella, following some twin magic. A second ref, or Nikki, or anyone who happens to be paying attention, points this out to the ref, who restarts the match. Nikki hits a sneaky Rack Attack on Paige to retain her title. Paige keeps busy with Brie for the next month, avenging the screwjob, and earns her way toward a rematch and eventual title win at Summerslam.
