Round 1 Match
Aria Cadenza vs. Chrissy Rivera
Seeing these two Starlets squaring off in the first round surprised me, mostly because I expected to see both make it to round 2.
Chrissy spends a good portion of the match trying to chop Aria down to size. Lots of leg kicks, and lots of chops. Aria takes over with a barrage of power moves, including a chokeslam. A Chrissy comeback is thwarted, and Aria wins clean with a Vader bomb.
What I liked: Good, logical storytelling here. Solid action that made both girls look good, and made Aria look like a real threat moving forward in the tournament.
