The average Raw opening promo takes 20 minutes, and accomplishes next to nothing.

To paint a picture and build a match against Homicide, Jon Moxley needed three minutes and twenty-four seconds.
In that time, Mox talks about a time when he risked life and limb to fly in the face of what would be a deadly threat. He uses that guy’s reputation to explain how he’s not afraid of Homicide, despite his dangerous reputation. It’s short, sweet, and makes one hell of a point.

There’s a reason why Nick marked out for this promo, and why I made a point to include it.
