What’s The Worst That Could Happen?: WWE Fastlane PPV

It’s the (WWE) FASTLANE (PPV) to WrestleMania! And you know what that means – actually.. we kind of don’t, do we? This is the first event of its kind, and it’s on free TV, essentially, so here goes nothing!

To make sure you don’t miss anything, follow us on Twitter and like us on Facebook. Now that we’ve gotten the shameless plugs out of the way, let’s figure out What’s the Worst That Could Happen tonight in the great American city of Memphis, TN:

Six-Man Tag

6man tag

Ryback, Erick Rowan & Dolph Ziggler vs. Seth Rollins, Big Show & Kane

Best Case Scenario:  Like an episode of [ENTER SUPERHERO CARTOON SHOW HERE] where [EXTREMELY FUN TO WATCH HERO]/Ziggler and [EXTREMELY FUN TO WATCH VILLAIN]/Rollins are able to exist in a bubble of awesomeness while the big brutes go after one another full blast creating egregious amounts of environmental destruction.

Worst Case Scenario: Ziggler, Ryback and Rollins get hurt on the way to the ring and they turn this into a two-on-one handicap match between Rowan and the Glimmer Twins.

What Nick Wants To Happen: The members of team Face — Rowan, Ryback and Ziggler — get on some peak-Shield shit, and manage to bring back the crackling excitement of the six-man tag that literally carried Raw to greatness for much of the last two years. It’s easy to forget just how good six-man tags can be, and if this match can give us even an inch of what’s possible, it’ll be worthy the stagnant booking for the three babyfaces that put them in this position in the first place.

What Will Happen: RRZ will win after The Authority — or at least Big Show and Kane — implodes, preferably with J&J Security somehow caught in the crosshairs.
