What Nick Wants to Happen: Warlord v. Bulldog (WrestleMania VII)
What Will Happen: Ryback v. Mark Henry (WrestleMania 29)

Although this was an almost remarkably short WWE PPV match — under five minutes — it was still filled with a great deal of goodness brought to the plate by both men. In particular, Rusev’s work as an overall performer  — from working to selling to even his promos — continues to improve at a pace with which we are most unfamiliar, and already stands (especially from a physical standpoint) as one of the most significant performers in the company after a remarkable rookie year.

This match, if nothing else, was a showcase for that. If it were anything more than that, it could have been among the best matches of the night. Instead, it stands towards the middle of the pack on a relatively down show. C’est la vie.
