The Dream: Braun’s partner is Curt Hawkins on Elias’s shoulders, wearing the lab coat Braun’s brother was wearing on Monday.
There’s really not that much to say about this match, but Braun continues to be the most beautiful creature ever constructed entirely out of professional wrestling. And while it may seem like a real burial of The Bar to have Nicholas defeat them for the titles, the fact that they were part of what will likely be the second most viral story of the show behind Rousey’s performance, I’m sure they’re not minding the rub.
With this match being as short — and weirdly kind of sweet — as anything they’ve ever had worth watching on Mania, this is another quintessential “wouldn’t go out of my way, but wouldn’t turn it off if it was on” bouts that the best WrestleManias are full of.
