I’m at a point in my adult life where I don’t like seeing guys taking senseless weapons shots, especially when I can see the resulting injury pictures a few days later on Facebook.
That said, this wasn’t bad. Forge isn’t a wrestler, but he’s willing to take his lumps, which I respect. Mikey is a special blend of crazy and hard work. Morris is great, and I honestly see an NYWC championship in his future. And I really like DJ as Blake’s hard-hitting heavy.
I missed the finish, but I’ll still say that this was fun. I may have preferred it as a singles match, with Forge and either DJ or Morris providing support from the outside, and playing into the finish.
