NYWC: Angry Andy Reviews "Tour de Circus"

You thought this show was done? Shame on you.  Mikey Whipwreck and Jamie Van Leamer brawl into the Sportatorium through a side door.  As Mikey is beating on JVL, the rest of the Seven Deadly Sinners come to ringside and confront Mikey.  As it looks like we’re about to get a repeat of last month’s beatdown, the lights go out.  THE SINISTER MINISTER (or Father James Mitchell/James Vandenberg, if you’d prefer WCW/TNA over the history of those involved in ECW) appears on screen. He says Mikey has found himself in a pickle again, but tells him, in a roundabout way, that the reinforcements are coming.

When the lights come on, Joe Gacy, J-Ro, Joe Ettell, and Joey Conway are in the ring with Mikey.  They all spit mist in the faces of the Deadly Sinners and clear the ring to end the show.  Looks like Mikey’s team is set for Psycho Circus.

What I liked: I was genuinely surprised by the Sinister Minister’s appearance. Even if via videotape, I thought it was a really cool touch.  The big reveal was well-done. In one shot, the NYWC did a nice job of laying out the next two months of top, non-title action. I’m excited, and you should be, too.

What made me angry: There is a name or two here that I’m not completely sold on, but I’ll wait and see how this goes before I let it make me angry.

NYWC returns to action on January 31st for Sideshow.  It’s the last stop on the road to Psycho Circus, which means this one is can’t-miss.  Be there. I’ll see you at ringside.
