NYWC: Angry Andy Reviews "Till I Collapse"

Apollyon and Stockade vs Team Tremendous (Dan Barry and Bill Carr)

This is building off the segment from last month, where Crusher Doogan threatened to reveal Stockade’s secrets, unless Stockade did what he was told.  So here, he’s teaming with Apollyon against his will.

The story of this match was Stockade being apprehensive about his participation in the match.   Finish saw him try to hit Apollyon with a chair…but Apollyon ducked out  of the way, and Stockade crushed Carr instead.

What I liked: The action was good.  The story work was good.  I’m curious to see what happens next.  But at the same time, this type of story can really only end with Stockade’s secrets spilling out, so I’m curious as to what the end-game is going to be.

What made me angry: While it didn’t make me angry, per se, but Team Tremendous didn’t get to do much of their schtick.  Some good power moves by Carr, some good high flying from Barry (including one very crazy dive to the outside), but this one wasn’t about them.
