NYWC: Angry Andy Reviews "Sideshow"

NYWC returned on Saturday, January 31st for their last show on the road to Psycho Circus, Sideshow.  It’s a cliché that people overuse in wrestling, causing fans to overlook shows (we’re looking at you, Fast Lane).  But here’s the thing—Sideshow isn’t a throwaway show.  It’s an attraction all on its own, offering some big matches, solid action, and important storyline developments.

Before we get to the action, I want to reiterate the fact that I respect all the guys on these shows.  Sometimes, I shit on matches.  And sometimes, I unwittingly offer backhanded compliments, that aren’t taken the way they’re intended.  It’s important for me to note that I respect the hell out of everyone who gets in the ring, especially considering I never had the balls to do it myself.   So if I’m judging your match, please take my commentary for what it is meant to be—the constructive criticism of a fan who’s been watching wrestling for over 20 years.  When you get better, the show I’m watching gets better.  We all win.

With that said, let’s get to the action.
