Dean Ambrose vs. Bray Wyatt (TLC)

It’s hard to imagine them not paying off Ambrose climbing that enormous ladder at this match, which WWE has already booked for next month’s show.

Luke Harper vs. Erick Rowan  – IC Title Match (WIT WEAPONS)

They need to kickstart Harper’s run with the belt using a match that makes him look good, but has intrigue that exists separate from the title belt. Enter his former “brother”, and a hoss fight made in heaven.

Big Show vs. Cena (Last Man Standing/Loser Leaves Town^Please?)

Ugh, but obvious.

Ziggler vs. Seth Rollins

It’s not exactly breaking news that these guys have great chemistry, and while the assumption may be that Rollins would face Orton, I’d like to think they’ll let that develop a little more, while giving Ziggler and Rollins the best possible showcase after they brilliant mini-match to end Survivor Series. In fact, all signs point to that being how they build the match to begin with.

Randy Orton vs. Kane

While Seth Rollins-Randy Orton may come down the road, cashing in those chips so quickly doesn’t seem particularly great for business, especially given that Seth Rollins would pretty much have to win. And having Kane stand in Randy Orton’s way between he and Seth Rollins is also the most Kane shit to do in the world.

Dust(y) Brothers vs. Usos vs. MizDo(w)s vs. Los Matadores – Ladder Match for WWE Tag Team title

This will likely be the ladder match on the show, and should also be on the shortlist for “match of the night”. Really, having a tag team title match on the TLC PPV and not having it be a ladder and/or table match is the type of stuff that would make me just as Angry as Andy usually is.

Brie vs. Nikki – Divas Title/Rights to the Bella name

As I wrote in the Bang for Your Buck PPV review, I am genuinely excited for what’s happening with this feud going forward. Right now, it may seem as though they are doing the rare “totally pointless turn with no explanation thing after Brie distracted AJ to give Nikki the victory, the amount of history seeping out of every bit of that set-up – from the weeks building up, to the longstanding dislike between the Total Divas (for which the Bellas are the avatars) and A.J. after the #PipeBombShell, to the historical background of A.J. Lee causing Brie’s (future) husband to lose at WrestleMania – leads me to believe that it’s just a matter of Brie being able to kill two birds with one stone, rather than her joining back with her sister.

Rusev vs. Ryback – Chairs Match for the US Title

This is the prediction which I am least sure about, but it’s hard to imagine either of these performers being left off the card, and while a Ryback loss wouldn’t be ideal, he’s really the only person who should be healthy enough to work the show and withstand a loss to help build Rusev into something bigger without losing too much heat/momentum himself.
