The Dream: James Ellsworth comes back to prevent Becky Lynch from grabbing the briefcase, leading to the WWE’s first genuine intergender feud since Chyna and Jeff Jarrett. Or Lana and Rusev become Mr. and Mrs. Money in the Bank. Either one works for me.
The Nightmare: James Ellsworth comes back, screws Becky out of the briefcase, but instead of either retrieving it for someone else, he grabs the briefcase and proceeds to work in a tag team with Santina Marella whose theme song is just a remix of Stephanie and Vince’s theme music and constantly plays as a soundtrack for all women’s matches going forward.
The Hope: A competitive match they don’t have some dude win.
The Reality: With an impending feud with Ronda on the horizon, Natalya should win this going away. The only other two performers likely in the discussion are Sasha and Becky, both of whom could use the briefcase to re-establish themselves in the main event of the division without needing them to exploit the very small contingent of low-to-midcard to gain traction.
