6. The winner of the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal

Why it works: You have this big, epic match free of consequence for the losers, or benefit for the winner.  Putting a title shot on the line here would immediately legitimize both the Battle Royal, and the title match.  Not to mention, whoever ends up in the title match would have gone through 29 other guys to get there.  Sound familiar?

Why it would make me angry: Two battle royal winners battling for the championship sounds a bit lazy, I’ll admit.  It also keeps the main event of WrestleMania in doubt until the show is in progress for the second year in a row.  It’s mighty difficult for the marketing team to do what they do when they don’t know what it is they’re selling.
