6. Brock Lesnar
Why it works: He’s the most popular, and most legitimate guy on the roster. He’s the last “real” draw. When someone beats Lesnar, it actually means something, so Lesnar with the belt gets you real, mainstream attention.
Why it (probably) won’t happen: We saw this last year, and the smart marks pissed and moaned about the “absentee” champion. Note: nobody who matters cares what the smart marks think. BUT… right now, WWE needs to make some real, top stars… and putting the belt on a part-time guy who won’t be around only goes to show the casual fan that nobody on the roster is really on Brock’s level.
