Two out of Three Falls, Tag Team Title Match

The New Day vs. Cesaro & Kidd

Expect some crazy displays of strength by Big E, and especially Cesaro. Expect Tyson Kidd and Kofi Kingston to fly – and pull off some cool double-team spots. Expect Xavier Woods to be straight MONEY on the outside. Expect “this is awesome” chants, at least once, but probably a few times throughout these three falls.

When I’m right, I’m right. New Day retain when Xavier sneaks in and steals the third fall. And it wasn’t even in a “they all look alike” context – because the announcers were smart enough to mention that the ref only saw the shoulders down, and not who was on top. Smart, smart, smart.

What made me happy: Besides all the incredible action, and the innovative spots, and the creative finish? Xavier Woods’ reaction to the “this is awesome” chants was on point. “We know! We are well aware!”

What made me angry: The only parts of this match that weren’t great were the spots that led to the first two falls.

If I booked it…: I probably would not have come up with something this good.
