The Meta Powers vs. The Ascension

The Ascension won. The guys who have been made to look like complete jokes over the last few months got a “W” over one of the most beloved guys on the roster, and the guy they’re trying their damndest to get over. Wait, what?

What made me happy: When Hulk Hogan’s music hit and Curtis Axel made his entrance, decked out in the red and yellow of Hulka Axelmania, I popped. It was such a simple moment, and the crowd ate it up like candy.

What made me angry: The Ascension won. The absolutely heatless Ascension beat two of the guys WWE is trying to convince us to invest in… and it made no sense whatsoever.

If I booked it…:  You want the Ascension to win? Fine. Their finish has to go. I’d have them start picking up little pieces from the tag teams to which they’re a throwback, and use the Doomsday Device as a finish.
