Andy’s Top 10 Reasons to be Angry: Wrestling with Racism, and a New Nation

7. The Million Dollar Manservant

Good old Virgil.  Before he was famous for being lonely at autograph signings, he was famous for playing backup to Ted DiBiase.  He did whatever Teddy asked.

Stop and think about it for a minute.  The black manservant, owned and ordered around by a rich white guy.  It doesn’t take much to see what they were going for on this one, does it?  At least DiBiase would get his comeuppance when Virgil made his face turn.  Too bad Virgil didn’t have the skills to survive afterwards.
