They’re not going to have a great, competitive match. They’re going to have a match that makes Baron Corbin look good… and that’s not too exciting.

Good news, guys. I’m wrong sometimes.

I liked this match. I liked that it was super competitive, with both guys laying in some stiff shots. I like that Corbin came out looking tough in defeat, and that indy-darling Samoa Joe got a big win in front of an indy-smart crowd.
Oh, and Corbin’s pre-match promo, about not knowing who any of the indy-darling wrestlers to come through NXT are? Brilliant heel work.
