Ladder Match for the Intercontinental Championship

Daniel Bryan vs. Stardust vs. Dolph Ziggler vs. Luke Harper vs. Dolph Ziggler vs. R-Truth vs. Bad News Barrett (c)

This match is pretty high on the list of matches I’m excited to see. How could you not be? You’ve got 7 incredible talented guys who are going to go all-out to put on a great match, and try their damnedest to steal the show. The crazy part is, with one exclusion, there really aren’t any bad options for a winner. Everyone in this match could benefit from a title win (or retention), and almost any of these guys holding the belt going forward is good news for the title itself. It pretty much guarantees that the Intercontinental title is the “worker” title going forward, much the way it was in the hey-day of the championship. Daniel Bryan, Dolph Ziggler, Cody Rhodes Stardust, Dean Ambose and Bad News Barrett, competing over and swapping the IC title? That’s a division I can get behind. Hell, it’s pretty much NXT, but on USA.

I’ll be angry if: R-Truth even thinks about winning the title. Any other option is acceptable (though I’ll be rooting for Daniel Bryan.)

I’ll keep my cool if: Daniel Bryan wins, and gets his WrestleMania moment…albeit a scaled-down version of what we saw last year in N’Orleans.

I’m expecting: Daniel Bryan wins the title. Dolph Ziggler turns heel. Bryan spends the next few months (and possibly all the way through Summerslam) defending the Intercontinental title against a slew of heel contenders… until we get Bryan vs. Finn Balor.
