Rusev vs. Ziggler

I know a lot of people are pissing and moaning about this feud, because, apparently, Ziggler should never sell anything, and Rusev should be more of a 1980’s caricature than an actual person, with real motivations.

Screw those people.

Whether you like it or not, the Rusev-Lana split has been one of the more compelling WWE stories of 2015. The addition of Ziggler seemed questionable at first, but has largely worked out, especially when it comes time to wrestle.

The addition of Summer Rae has been icing on the cake, with her existing solely as a target for Lana’s rage.

I’ll be angry if: This is the end of the story. Ziggler may have earned a win here… but this feud doesn’t really end until Lana pins or submits Summer Rae.

I’ll keep my cool if: The attention remains on the action in the ring, with the occasional mention of the drama on the inside… and not the other way around. The drama has to come later.

I’m expecting…: Ziggler takes a beating, but pulls off a win when Rusev becomes distracted by Lana. Big Lana-Summer pull-apart after the match… leading to Lana finally “beating” Summer.

If I booked it: This leads to a match at the next show, with Lana vs. Summer. Yeah, Lana can’t wrestle… but that’s not the point.
