Brock Lesnar vs. Bray Wyatt
The Royal Rumble booking made us all think this was going to be a headline match at WrestleMania. That would have been exciting. But, this? Not so much.
A Mania match could have been used to truly “make” Bray Wyatt. But, considering the stage, and knowing that Lesnar is almost definitely going over at WrestleMania.. .you know Bray Wyatt is not winning this match.
It’s a shame.
The only question, to me, is how Bray Wyatt loses this match. You would hope they find a way to keep Wyatt strong… but who knows.
I’ll be angry if: Bray takes a clean fall, and each of his followers eats an F5. Lesnar looks like a god, but the Wyatt Family looks embarrassingly weak.
If I booked it: Lesnar sneakily reverses Sister Abigail into an F5. The rest of the Wyatt Family swarms the ring. Lesnar fights the 3 monsters off, and everyone eats suplexes and F5s. Wyatt himself escapes relatively unscathed.
Lesnar looks like a dominant god on the road to wrestling Ambrose, Wyatt looks like he got caught instead of getting killed, and the rest of the family does what it’s there to do. Post-match, the Wyatt family moves on to something meaningful.
I’m expecting…: An extremely physical match that ends in an F5 and a three count, followed by another F5 for each Wyatt family member, including another for Bray.
