Andy Will Be Angry If…: WWE Money in the Bank Edition

New Day PTPs

WWE Tag Team Championship

The New Day (c) vs. Prime Time Players

These five guys here? They’ve been killing it, big time. Everyone’s been used in a way that highlights their strengths, and hides their flaws. It’s wrestling 101, and it’s been done to perfection.

I’m pretty torn on what to do in this one. I’m absolutely loving New Day. Prime Time Players have been pretty fantastic, too. Ultimately, I think this could be a good time to pull the tirgger on the PTPs. Here’s why.

Darren Young would be the first openly-gay champion in WWE history. WWE could have their title appear at LGBT events–and major media appearances–across the country. It’s a huge win for the company.

Remember when Titus was named Celebrity Dad of the Year, like…a month ago? Yeah, whatever appearances he has with that? Now he’s bringing the title. It’s another big win, with no downside.

You have the PTPs do a whole summer of PR with the titles, and then either hand the belts back to New Day…or the reunited non-Wyatt Family.

I’ll be angry if: Someone gets hurt. That’s the only way I can imagine this not being really, really good.

I’ll keep my cool if: This match gets 15 minutes, and everyone gets to play their role.

I’m expecting…: A big win for the Prime Time Players, complete with a big celebration, and a hilarious follow-up promo by New Day.

If I booked it: PTPs take the belts on a summer-long PR tour, and then drop the titles back to literally anyone except Los Matadores or the Ascension at Summerslam.
