Andy Will Be Angry If…: WWE Battleground Edition

PTP New Day

Tag Team Championship Match

Prime Time Players (c) vs. New Day

The New Day’s momentum has cooled, which isn’t as bad a thing as some folks make it out to be. What that means is what WWE isn’t completely blowing their load with New Day, by overpushing them and having the crowd turn against them completely. This is a good thing.

What WWE IS doing, is capitalizing on the momentum of the Prime Time Players. Sending D-Young to Pride parades and celebrating Titus as the celebrity dad of the year.

In short, it’s not a thing to let one team cool, to take advantage of another’s heat.

I see that continuing here, but won’t be surprised to see WWE re-light the fire under New Day.

I’ll be angry if: The PTP’s push stops, dead in its tracks.

I’ll keep my cool if: The PTPs win, in a way that keeps both teams strong. If the PTPs win, we’re either in for another rematch, or new challengers…and there are no other strong heel teams right now.

I’m expecting…: A big schmozz finish, involving 2 or more teams running in, building to a big tag team clusterkerfluffle at Summerslam.

If I booked it: The PTPs would win clean. New Day would respond with a 3-on-2 beatdown. Run-ins to follow by Lucha Dragons and, I don’t know, is other-Uso healthy yet?
