Natalya & Paige vs. Nikki & Brie Bella

I’m pretty confused as to why this is not a title match. We’ve seen nontitle variations of this matchup for the last several weeks, and now on pay-per-view we’re getting another match with no real consequence? Why isn’t this a three or four-way match for the title?

Logistics aside, there has to be a compelling story in this match to keep this feud moving toward a title match. I foresee Natalya and Paige fighting over who gets to pin the Divas champion, or someone scoring the pin off a blind tag. We’ve seen it before, we’ll see it again. Could they do better? Yes. Will they? You know the answer.

I’ll be angry if: The Bellas win. Hearing “You can look but you can’t touch” blaring at the end of this one pretty much kills Paige and Natty going forward.

I’ll keep my cool if: Paige scores the win at Natalya’s expense, and plays it like she won “for the team.” It becomes abundantly clear int he weeks to come that Paige was positioning herself for a Divas title shot. Natty murders Paige. Logical title match ensues.
