Hideo Itami & Finn Balor vs. The Ascension

The former KENTA and Prince Devitt are awesome.  This should be their first real “holy shit, these guys are good” showcase in WWE.  The problem is, I don’t think The Ascension are really the guys they should be having that match with.  This match will either be shockingly good…or a really big disappointment.

I’ll be angry if: This sucks. Also, if The Ascension look like chumps on their way to the main roster.  Itami and Balor look like anything less than the world-class talents you already know they are.

I’ll keep my cool if: Team New Japan wins in impressive fashion, without totally killing The Ascension.

What I’m expecting: This match goes a little too long, but isn’t bad. The announcers are weird about Balor’s body paint gimmick. Itami and Balor are established as threats, and The Ascension graduate to the main roster.
